The Felipe Segovia Foundation announces a new edition of the SEK International Schools Scholarship Programme for the 2026–2027 academic year. This initiative is aimed at recognising and supporting academic, personal and sporting talent across the different educational stages.
The scholarship programme is part of the Foundation’s mission and reflects SEK Education Group’s commitment to excellence, a culture of effort and the holistic development of students. It promotes profiles aligned with the values and competency framework of the educational group, which integrates SEK International Schools and Camilo José Cela University.
The Academic Excellence Scholarships and the Sports Potential Scholarships are open both to students currently enrolled in SEK International Schools and to students from other educational institutions who wish to join one of the schools within SEK Education Group. Their eventual application is subject, where appropriate, to admission and the formal completion of the corresponding enrolment process.
Meanwhile, the María de Villota Scholarship and the Sports Practice Scholarships are exclusively intended for students currently enrolled in SEK International Schools, in recognition of their academic, personal or sporting trajectory within the institution.
The programme includes the following categories:

Academic Excellence Scholarships, aimed at students with a high competency profile who wish to pursue the SEK University Baccalaureate, either through the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme or through the different Baccalaureate pathways offered by SEK Schools.

María de Villota Scholarship, recognising SEK students with academic excellence and a strong social commitment, in line with the values that inspired María de Villota’s life and legacy.

Sports Practice Scholarships, aimed at SEK students who combine their academic education with outstanding participation in federated competitive sports.

Sports Potential Scholarships, open both to SEK students and to students from other educational institutions with high competitive potential who wish to study at SEK International Schools and develop their academic and sporting careers as part of the SEK International Sports Academy programme.
The Felipe Segovia Foundation Scholarship Programme is developed in collaboration with the educational centres of the institution, which apply the scholarships operationally in accordance with the criteria established in the official call.
Through this initiative, the Felipe Segovia Foundation strengthens its institutional role in promoting merit, equal opportunities and the development of talent in its various dimensions.
