SEK-Riyadh students excel at the NuVuX Student Summit in Cambridge

A group of students from SEK-Riyadh took part in the NuVuX Student Summit, a prestigious international design forum held in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Representing our school, the students engaged in a packed schedule of activities focused on innovation, creative thinking, and teamwork, collaborating with young designers from around the world.

During the summit, SEK-Riyadh students not only deepened their understanding of design thinking methodologies and the studio work developed in partnership with NuVu, but also showcased their ability to adapt, collaborate, and lead in international settings.

Among the most memorable moments, the NuVuX Summit Team highlighted the students’ active participation in tackling complex challenges, such as designing triangulated surfaces for water collection. They also praised the curiosity and interest shown by the students during lectures, where they asked thoughtful and incisive questions to experts, including a scientific entrepreneur from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Additionally, the students contributed to documenting innovative modular furniture prototypes, and many of them formed strong international connections while working with peers from different countries during team-based activities.

This experience is part of the ongoing collaboration between SEK-Riyadh and NuVu, aligned with SEK Education Group’s commitment to fostering creativity, innovation, and experiential learning.
